01Request the outpatient appointment

Request via phone/E-mail/homepage.
Professional coordinator of International Healthcare Center will help you.
If you have a Korean National Health Insurance, a referral letter by a doctor of the primary or secondary hospital is necessary for coverage of the insurance because UUH is the tertiary hospital.

02Confirmation of your appointment in the outpatient clinic

You can get the confirmation of your appointment, and coordinator will let you know the department, your doctor, scheduled date & time, preparation and other details.

03Visit

Go directly to the designated department and check your name on the list of appointments with your ID at the nurse reception card desk.
If it is your first visit to UUH, please contact International Healthcare Center. We will inform you how to use medical service at UUH.

If you have a medical document, submit it to the nurse.

04Preliminary Consultation

Before doctor consultation, there may be Preliminary Consultation about your health information or examination depending on the department rules.

05Standby

Please wait in the waiting area of the department and follow the nurse's guide.
The nurse will call you and guide you.

06After consultation

You should get information from the nurse regarding doctor's order of the next process.

07Payment

You can use the reception of No. 1 window for foreign patients on the first floor of the new building.(Available in English.)
You might get a prescription and buy your medication in a pharmacy outside the hospital.

08Examination

After payment, you can follow the next process you informed by your nurse with reservation paper(Your patient number allows access to your information in the hospital)

09Follow-up & Result

You should visit and see a doctor at your next appointment according to your nurse's notification.

10Medicine

According to Korean medical policy, the medicine is purchased from the external pharmacy.
After payment at the reception, you will get 2 prescription copies (1 copy for patient, 1 copy for pharmacy).
Bring the 2presrcription copies and buy your medicine at the pharmacy outside.
